1. Who We Are
CutNest is operated by Ryan Landreth, a sole trader registered in England and Wales, trading as CutNest. Our website is cutnest.co.uk. Contact: hello@cutnest.co.uk.
2. The Service
CutNest is a browser-based cut list optimisation tool for sheet materials including steel, timber, acrylic and glass. It is provided as-is for professional and commercial use. A free tier and a paid Pro subscription are available. The free tier calculates one material per job using free placement. Pro adds multiple materials per job, up to 12 sheet sizes per material with stock limits, grain lock, guillotine mode with cut sequences, remnants and offcut stock, the pre-built UK material library, DXF export, job history and the unit multiplier.
3. Pro Subscription
Pro subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Tropical Forest LLC), who act as Merchant of Record. Pricing is £12/month. Your licence key unlocks Pro features on any browser where it is entered. Keys are issued per company and may be shared with members of your team. You may not resell, publicly distribute or transfer your key to a third party outside your organisation. We reserve the right to revoke keys found to be shared in breach of these terms.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period. If you experience a material technical failure preventing use of the service, contact hello@cutnest.co.uk within 7 days of purchase and we will review your case. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
5. Accuracy and Fitness for Purpose
CutNest generates cut list estimates based on the dimensions and quantities you enter. All results are algorithmic and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before placing material orders. CutNest does not guarantee that layouts are optimal for your specific machine, material or process. You are solely responsible for verifying outputs before ordering.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CutNest’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, material over-ordering costs or loss of data, whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Availability
We aim to keep CutNest available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify or temporarily suspend the service at any time. The calculation engine runs in your browser and does not require a permanent internet connection once loaded.
8. Intellectual Property
All code, design, content and branding associated with CutNest are the intellectual property of Ryan Landreth trading as CutNest. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the software without prior written permission.
9. Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
